DESCRIPTION: The gall midge responsible causes the leaflets to swell and duly fold up up in pod-like structures. These pods can be green or red in colour and are quite frequent when found. Within the pod are several white larva that pupate in the soil. DISTRIBUTION: Occasional with up to 3 generations a year. HABITAT: On the leaves of various Vetches. |
